View From The Hill

Every American has a unique point of view. The Constitution of the United States in its First Amendment guarantees that point of view.

So, my point of view may differ from yours. I hope it does.

Our great nation is divided into two very different view points. Now, we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.

No, I didn’t write that last sentence; it was Abraham Lincoln. But his words echo true today. We are engaged in a great civil war of bigotry and intolerance vs acceptance, of misogyny vs respect, of hate vs love and, yes, of good vs evil.

This is why I decided I had to write this blog.

This war is being lost
